What other currencies are the plans charged in?
The plans are also charged in British Pounds, Euro, Yen, Australian Dollar.
-In Pound, Starter: 570£, Adventurer: 1200£, Explorer: 2800£
-In Euro, Starter: 630€, Adventurer: 1300€, Explorer: 3100€
-In Yen, Starter: 75,000¥, Adventurer: 165,000¥, Explorer: 380,000¥
-In Australian Dollar, Starter: 570£, Adventurer: 1200£, Explorer: 2800£
What is the difference between the plans?
1.Destinations
-Starter includes only 13 Destinations. You can choose between 7 Destinations from Hiking Category, 4 from Camping Category and 2 from River Rafting Category.
-Adventurer includes 27 Destinatioans. 11 from Hiking Category, 6 from Camping Category, 6 from River Rafting Category, 2 from Snowboarding Category, 1 from Skydiving and Fishing Category.
-Explorer includes all available Destinations from every Category.
2.Visits
-Starter lets your round trip have only destination.
-Adventurer lets your round trip have up 3 destinations.
-Explorer lets your round trip have up to 10 destinations. They can be from different categories aswell.
3.Documentation
-This is considered more as a preference and is only included in the Explorer Plan. Our photographer/docummenter Sergio Marquina will film the whole trip, edit the footage and provide you with the finished product after the trip has ended. No extra fees. It is all included in the plan. You can provide him with your own ideas for the video aswell.
4.All Categories
-Expanding from the 2nd question. Only the Explorer lets you have a round trip containing destinations from different categories. The other ones accept only 1 category at a time.
What happens if you cancel my trip due to COVID-19? Will I get a refund?
If we cancel your trip due to COVID-19, or for any other reason, you’ll receive a full refund of all payments made to Atlas Obscura. You’ll also have the option of applying your payment as a credit towards a future trip with us. Keep in mind that flights, hotel bookings, or other travel arrangements made through third parties are subject to the cancellation terms and conditions of those providers. We always recommend purchasing travel insurance for any trip to ensure you’re protected. We’re available to answer questions about travel during this time. What happens after the trip?
Your Group Leader will spend enough time as needed to ensure you are comfortable and confident with where you’re going next. And can organise and book whatever you need including any other transport, accommodation or trips you may want. We'll also provide 24/7 support and advice after your trip and will always be there to help when you need it.
